David Barton on – Leave Abuse: How to Manage Employee Attendance While Complying with a Growing Number of Protected Absences

Arizona, like many other states, protects employees who take Paid Sick Leave. But did you know that jury duty and voting time are also protected? And let’s not forget the FMLA and the ADA. Then, of course, there is leave available under your policies which can also be protected under certain circumstances. How can you hold employees accountable for poor attendance when they abuse these leave benefits?

Join us on Friday, February 17th at 2:45pm at SHRM’s 2023 Employment Law & Compliance Conference where David T. Barton will present “Leave Abuse: How to Manage Employee Attendance While Complying with a Growing Number of Protected Absences”. This seminar will discuss ways HR professionals can effectively and lawfully manage leaves of absence to ensure the work gets done.
