Arizona’s 2017 Minimum Wage and Earned Paid Sick Time Posters Now Available

On November 9, 2016, my colleagues David Barton and Christie Hammerle blogged about Arizona’s new minimum wage and earned paid sick time law called the Fair Wages and Healthy Families Act.  That article can be found here. The Industrial Commission of Arizona has since released Notices related to the law that employers are required to post in a conspicuous place in the workplace.

You can find the 2017 AZ State Minimum Wage Poster in English here, and in Spanish here.

Earned paid sick time must begin accruing on July 1, 2017 or the day that the employee begins working – whichever is later. So, employers don’t need to post the new 2017 AZ Earned Paid Sick Time Poster until July 1, 2017. You can find that poster here.

Please contact any attorney at BurnsBarton PLC if you’d like help navigating Arizona’s new minimum wage and earned paid sick time law.
